Fees

Our fees vary between nurseries and by your child’s age and session requirements. Our current fees are set out in the following documents:

Nursery Fees for Barrow, Quorn and Loughborough Nursery Fees for Sileby

Government Funding

We offer funded childcare places across all of our nurseries

  • 15 hours per week  – for all 3 and 4 year olds
  • 30 hours per week – for eligible working families with 3–4 year olds
  • 2 year old funding – for eligible families (check eligibility on the Government website)

Funding is applied during term time or spread across the year depending on your arrangement. We’ll help you work out what you’re entitled to when you enquire.

Tax-Free Childcare

We are registered to accept payments through the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme. For every £8 you pay in, the Government adds £2 — up to £2,000 per child per year (or £4,000 for children with disabilities).

Childcare Vouchers

We are registered with most childcare voucher providers for parents who receive vouchers through their employer. We also accept payment by bank transfer and cash.

Sibling Discount

Yes — if you have more than one child with us, a sibling discount applies. Ask us for details when you enquire

Settling In

We are a fully inclusive nursery group. Every child is welcome at Lime Tree — and every child’s needs matter to us.

Each nursery has a dedicated SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator), supported by our wider SEND team who provide guidance, training and specialist advice across all settings. If your child has additional needs, please speak to us — we will work with you to make sure they thrive.

The Family App

We use the Family App to keep you connected to your child’s day. Expect daily photos, activity updates and entries in your child’s learning and development journal — all viewable from your phone.

It’s also how we share important updates, requests and news from the nursery.

Inclusion

We pride ourselves on being inclusive. We have a dedicated special educational needs manager that works across all settings to ensure that children who require additional support, have full access. Our internal and external SEND training enables early identification of possible additional needs. This then supports the early intervention and close working practices with parents to ensure that children receive all avenues of support. Working closely with external agencies in a collaborative way makes the journey through to school as smooth as possible.

Illness

Sickness/Exclusion Policy for Communicable Disease

It is our policy to ensure that the environment maintains the minimum opportunity for the spread of infection, therefore below is a list of certain illness/diseases which will require a period of time when the child cannot attend the Nursery.

Please be aware that there are many different illnesses/diseases. We will act on the side of caution if we suspect a problem. Please be understanding of our environment and the need to protect others.

We are aware that often illnesses have incubation periods where the child is infectious, however, we cannot control this and therefore as soon as symptoms appear we will act accordingly.

When my child cannot attend nursery:

  • If antibiotics are prescribed, you must be away from the nursery for the 1st 24 hours.
  • Vomiting/sickness: 48 hours clear from the last episode.
  • Diarrhoea: 48 hours clear from the last episode.
  • Conjunctivitis: When the eyes are weeping you must be away until treatment has begun.
  • Chicken Pox: 5 days from appearance of the rash, or until the blisters have scabbed over.
  • Food Poisoning: 48 hours clear from the last episode of symptoms.
  • Impetigo: Until the skin has healed.
  • Fever 38c or above – consultation with parents. Paracetamol offered if given consent. Child will be sent home if temperature is still present.
  • Thrush – 24 hours after the antibiotics have been 1st administered.
  • Hand, Foot & Mouth – Children must stay away from nursery until the blisters have scabbed over.

If my child becomes unwell whilst at nursery:

  • If a child should become ill whilst attending the nursery, every effort will be made to contact the parent/carer. It is therefore essential that up to date records of emergency contact telephone numbers are given to the office.
  • The Nursery reserves the right to take a child to hospital in an emergency in the event of a parent/carer not being available. Permission forms for this will be signed on registration.
  • All information of illnesses will be logged on the child’s personal file.
  • It is the decision of the nursery manager whether a child is unfit for the nursery. These rules have been compiled to ensure that the spread of infection within the nursery is kept to a minimum. All information of illnesses will be logged on the child’s personal file.
